Visit Jimi Hendrix’s accurately re-created late 1960’s apartment and Hendrix museum. Brook Street (central London, off Regents Street).
Separated by a wall and 200 years are the homes of two musicians: Jimi Hendrix and the 18th century George Frederic Handel (perhaps most famed for his ‘Music of the Royal Fireworks’). It was fireworks of a different kind when the home of Hendrix – the only one recognised as his permanent base in the city. Jimi’s apartment is a time-capsule having been recreated exactly as it was when his late 60s home. The museum tells of Jimi’s London history with evocative photographs and visuals and personal memorabilia.
The Hendrix House is also the venue for our series of London Rocks! talks.

The original and first Hard Rock Cafe! ‘Legendary’ burgers, fantastic memorabilia collection in London’s only rock museum, and must-have merchandise! Standing on Old Park Lane since June 14th 1971 and still housing the first ever piece of memorabilia, Eric Clapton’s Lead II Fender, donated to Hard Rock to reserve his space at the very busy bar, the London Cafe is as authentic and rocking now as it was over 46 years ago.

Visit The Vault, London’s only Rock ‘n’ Roll museum; home to John Lennon’s hand written lyrics to Instant Karma, Madonna’s basque from her Vogue Tour, the harpsichord used by The Beatles to record “All You Need Is Love” and “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and many other iconic and valuable pieces. The Vault is housed underneath the Rock Shop so you can just head over after eating and jump on the next available tour.

We also hold our London Rocks! Club nights at the Troubadour. It’s a great place to see live music in the historic cellar club where Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Al Stewart, Adele and many others have performed. It’s also your chance to buy some memorabilia and vinyl from fellow collectors.  Come on down and bring your instrument for an open mic where possible!

The Ealing Club CIC hosts gigs at the legendary Ealing Blues Club venue that is recognised by many as the ‘Cradle of British Rock Music’ thanks to its role in nurturing the careers of many from the golden generation of British Music that that appeared from the 60’s ‘R & B’ boom. The Rolling Stones, The Who, Cream, Manfred Mann and The Animals, Fleetwood Mac and the Jimi Hendrix Experience (to name but a few) were all influenced by this early scene, most playing at the club, while local music shops such as Marshall Amplification and record labels such as Beggars Banquet added to the mix. West London continues to host a wealth of contemporary talent and exciting music events throughout the year with venues creating more opportunities for emerging artists.
